when holding credits for your character, please remember to be as realistic as possible. we aren't going to be nitpicky sticklers about every little thing, but please keep in mind that vanessa hudgens isn't going to be rose in titanic and robert downey jr. isn't going to be chuck bass on gossip girl. not every celebrity can have an imdb page like leonardo dicaprio's or meryl streep's, nor can they be on a hit tv show each week in addition to touring with their triple-platinum band whose fifth album just released. we'll let you know if we think you're taking on too much, but we trust you for the most part!
in addition, unlike some other faux celeb places, we have two cardinal rules in order to keep credit-picking running smoothly for everyone:
1) all films must keep their original release date listed on imdb, while all television shows must have run for the years they actually ran/run in real life. release dates of albums for musicians, however, may be changed to fit the needs of your character.
2) only one music claim may be taken on per character, unless that voice claim has multiple projects attached to it in real life. for example, travis mccoy has his own solo act in addition to being part of gym class heroes. if you hold lady gaga's music claim, it includes everything: her music, lyrics, albums, songs, and videos. you may not hold lady gaga's voice with katy perry's lyrics.

please note we are no longer taking credit holds. they are now first-come first-served. current members may comment
